Product Description | The HA-tag (YPYDVPDYA) antibody is immobilized to beaded agarose via amide linkages. The product could be utilized as an affinity matrix for rapid immunoprecipitation, isolation, purification and enrichment of recombinant proteins expressing the HA-tag. |  The HA-tag protein (50 kDa) expressed cell lysate and affinity enriched by IP with HA-tag antibody agarose (ICP1305) followed by WB analysis with HA-tag antibody HRP conjugates (ICP0751) 1: Molecular marker 2: 10 µL of HA-tag protein in original cell lysate 3: 10 µL of HA-tag protein in depleted cell lysate 4: 10 µL of HA-tag protein in 100 µL of enriched buffer, eluted from 20 mL of anti-HA tag, agarose (ICP1305) incubated with 2 mL of the original cell lysate. | |

Scientific Description | The HA tag is derived from the HA-molecule corresponding to amino acids 98-106 of the human influenza hemagglutinin. It has been extensively used as a general epitope tag in expression vectors. Many recombinant proteins have been engineered to express the HA tag, which does not appear to interfere with the bioactivity or the biodistribution of the recombinant protein. This tag facilitates the detection, isolation, and purification of the proteins. Affinity chromatography is one of the most efficient and rapid methods to enrich and purify the HA-tag proteins. | ||
