Product Description | The DYKDDDDK-tag antibody is immobilized to beaded agarose via amide linkages. The product could be utilized as an affinity matrix for rapid immunoprecipitation, isolation, purification and enrichment of recombinant proteins expressing the DYKDDDDK-tag. |  The DYKDDDDK-tag protein (50 kDa) expressed cell lysate andaffinity enriched by IP with DYKDDDDK-tag antibody agarose ( ICP1315 ) followed by WB analysis with DYKDDDDK-tag antibody HRP conjugates (ICP0902) 1: Molecular marker 2-3: 10µL of DYKDDDDK-tag protein in original cell lysate 4: 10µL of DYKDDDDK-tag protein in depleted cell lysate 5: 10µL of DYKDDDDK-tag protein in 100µL of enriched buffer, eluted from 20µL of anti-DYKDDDDK tag, agarose (ICP1315) incubated with 2 mL of the original cell lysate. | |

Scientific Description | The DYKDDDDK sequence has been extensively used as a general epitope tag in expression vectors. Many recombinant proteins have been engineered to express the DYKDDDDK tag, which does not appear to interfere with the bioactivity or the biodistribution of the recombinant protein. DYKDDDDK-tag facilitates the detection, isolation, and purification of the proteins. Affinity chromatography is one of the most efficient and rapid methods to enrich and purify the DYKDDDDK-tag proteins. | ||
